This excessive motion contributes to both acute symptoms—including chafing, pain, and skin irritation—and chronic issues like premature tissue laxity. The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends selecting a sports bra based on activity intensity: low-impact options for yoga or walking, medium-impact for cycling or strength training, and high-impact designs for running or aerobics.
