Patients diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) often seek complementary approaches to support their overall health during treatment. One commonly asked question is whether pine pollen—a traditional dietary supplement in some cultures—can be safely consumed. From a clinical oncology perspective, there is no scientific evidence supporting the use of pine pollen as a therapeutic agent for NHL. While pine pollen contains various nutrients, including amino acids, vitamins, and trace minerals, its biological activity in humans has not been rigorously evaluated in controlled trials, particularly in immunocompromised individuals undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or radiation.
