主要用途
Primary clinical use is to treat proliferative diabetic retinopathy (PDR) by reducing retinal ischemia-driven VEGF production and inducing regression of neovascularization; also used for retinal vein occlusion with neovascularization, sickle cell retinopathy, and other ischemic retinopathies. Indicated when high-risk characteristics are present: new vessels on the disc (NVD) ≥1/4 disc area, new vessels elsewhere (NVE) with vitreous/preretinal hemorrhage, or severe non-proliferative DR with extensive capillary non-perfusion.
